Technical Product Manager Intern
Tremau is a fast-growing start-up helping build a digital world that is safe and beneficial for all by delivering best-in-class Trust & Safety software and advisory services. Concretely, at Tremau we have developed the next-generation intelligent content moderation solution to help online platforms address the inefficiencies and compliance challenges to protect their users from illegal and harmful content. In parallel, we help some of the world’s largest tech platforms understand their new regulatory risks, assess the operational implications of their new obligations, undertake systemic risk assessments and prepare mitigation plans.
What We Are Looking For
Tremau is seeking a Technical Product Owner intern to join our Product team. As a Technical Product Owner intern, you will play a key role within our Product and Tech teams by driving cross-team software initiatives that span our organization. You will work on large-scale engineering efforts by overseeing engineering and product initiatives from beginning to end, ensuring an optimal workflow and effective communication.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about building products, can generate new ideas and improvements, and can work with product and tech teams in solving complex problems through software. Tremau’s products are constantly redefining what is possible, and we need you to support us in our vision and strategy.
This internship position is a remote position even though we have a beautiful office in Paris (Station F) if you prefer to join some of us in the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Articulate the technology, requirements, goals and milestones of the Product and Tech team
- Determine who your customers are and communicate technical and functional requirements to teams you depend on
- Identify product needs in technically complex areas, scope the requirements and partner with engineering to lay out the roadmap
- Ability to work with others on cross-functional software engineering projects that cover a range of areas
- Work with Engineering, Product Management, and other cross-functional teams on project execution
What we’re looking for – Minimum Requirements
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Knowledge in technical architecture of scalable web applications and/or media products
- Communication experience and experience working with teams on technical projects
- Interpersonal experience, including relationship building and collaboration within cross-functional team
- Analytical skills
Nice to have
- Interest in data platforms, ML algorithms, and AI technologies
